Democrats retain control of Senate thanks to Cortez Masto win in Nevada, CNN and NBC report. The Nevada win means Democrats will have at least 50 seats which means they control the chamber because Vice President Kamala Harris can break ties. Incumbent Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev., narrowly prevailed in a nail-biting race against Donald Trump-backed Republican challenger Adam Laxalt. Source 8o.
