I think that those cities who are saying they are sanctuary cities are doing a disservice to all Americans. Who are they giving sanctuary to? Just illegal aliens?, Drug dealers? Child molesters? Killers? Rapists? The idea of a sanctuary is a safe place where those who violate a law can go and be safe. Would you wish to live in a city or county that gives safely to those who break the law? How safe will you be? Could you count on any law enforcement officer to help you when you get mugged, Or worse? These so called sanctuary cities and counties need to be careful of what they stand for because if you are for standing up for those that break the law how are your real citizens going to react?

You have the right of it KN. The only people this law forces these so called sanctuary cities to report are those people on ICE Callback lists. Those people are on those lists because they committed a crime other than illegal immigration. It could be any of those crimes you mention. It could be being a gang banger responsible for forcing teenage girls into prostitution, as MS13 is doing here. No, these sanctuary cities aren't doing anything other than making liberals feel good, serving as a political stunt, and making us less safe.
