Rei the Mercenary

I, am Rei. I was given this name because Rei is the first three letters of the word Reincarnation. I am at the age of 16 or 16 according to the years of man. I am known as the Mercenary because I negotiate the rewards with clients.

I was born a Human because my parents were from a lineage of humans also.

I stand 5'5 feet tall with a lean body. I have black hair with big blue eyes. My white skin and an above average appearance in general makes me unique.

I see myself as one who is balanced with no particular talent. I want to create myths and legends by first starting a trade in business or doing bounties. I generally view alliances as suspicious actions made by people.

I intend to do many things in order to become the next Ruler of Kings. It should be known that my favorite food is bread. Thus, I now start this path towards legacy.

A Sentimental Value: Ring, Plain

Upon entering the living room I was struck with a sense of nostalgia from back when I was in my childhood days. The couch that used to be a gift from my uncle had been torn,dusty and full of cobwebs.

I decided to take a seat at the old and dirty couch, when I sat down, I notice something shiny on the old bookshelf across the living room. So I got up and decided to take a look at it.

Upon closer inspection it looks like a mini treasure box that you see in storybooks. I also saw a note containing "Thy adventure shall be a thorny one but ye shall not fret, for we giveth thee a gift full of memories in thy times of grief.". Although it had no name as to who the sender is, but deep down you know it was from both your mother and father.

After opening the mini treasure box you see a plain silver ring with letter like grooves inside that resembles
my name and a few more letters I don't know in the ring and a silver necklace that has a slightly bigger chain that looks like it can carry the ring. I insert the ring inside the silver necklace and realize it was a ring necklace.
I take the ring necklace outside the mini treasure box and wear it on my neck as proof of my parents love for me.

Advisor Description

Alan met Rei when he was 5 years old, he met him when his mother went to the barracks to search for her missing husband. Alan was wearing a soldier's uniform back then, and Rei and his mother wore plain tunic clothes fit for an average citizen.

Rei's mother had asked Alan if her husband was found. It was a rather friendly meeting given that they are strangers. Alan thought as if little Rei looks familiar to him.

Rei was friendly to him despite knowing he was secretly watched by Alan. So he extended a hand and offered to be his friend. Alan decided to play along with the child's whims and befriended Rei.

The relationship between those two were close friends as they grew older.
Alan was older than Rei and yet Rei did not mind the age gap between them.

Alan hopes Rei becomes a man who can achieve great things in the future.

I slept deeply in bed when I dreamt of myself in another world when suddenly I heard a voice. A voice so familiar to me I turned around and saw it was my late mother in a spiritual form.
She told me this world is my soul, which is linked to the real world. She also told me that this is also my future kingdom and that I should lead my people towards creating my kingdom.
I want to create a kingdom that has advanced technology inseparable from magic. And creations that can achieve the impossible.
