News Fox

When I do watch any news shows, I choose Fox News Network first. I find the shows much more balanced than on any other channel. In particular, Fox News Sunday seems to me to be the best Sunday morning news show.

All of the news channels have way too many ads on them. Also, since they all focus on "breaking" news as much as possible, they repeat themselves way too much. In this matter, Fox is neither better nor worse than any of the others.

White House war on Fox

Washington Post came out today and did a fluffy profile piece on Anita Dunn -- the White House communications director in charge of watching the network and exposing what they call lies. The thing that stuck out to Glenn? The fact they mention it will be so sad to see her go...and exit the White House by end of year. Huh? How do they know that? Ref. Source 1

War on Fox heats up

Obama officials hit the TV shows this weekend and proceeded to call Fox News 'not a news organization' and just an arm of the GOP. Rahm Emanuel said that Fox had a 'perspective' -- and CNN doesn't? Glenn has worked at both networks and the whole process seemed very similar, just one side leaned left the other right. Check out Glenn's reaction to the administration's continued assault on the Fox News Channel. Ref. Source 8

White House v. Fox

Here is your chance to be part of the discussion: I assume you saw the video clip where President Obama was asked about Fox News Channel and he was (or attempted to be) insulting or dismissive of the entire news organization.
What, if anything, should be done? There are many options -- including ignore it or show why [...] Ref. Source 2

Carter: Fox 'implants' falsehoods

President Jimmy Carter accused Fox News of implanting fake stories about President Obama, and said they've done a good job portraying Obama as not a citizen. Carter's proof? Nothing. But that shouldn't be surprising considering nothing, judging by past experience, is what we've come to expect from Carter. Glenn has more on radio today. Ref. Source 3
