Melden Introduction

Hello!

I'm Melden (or Erik, whichever works) and I've been playing role-playing games since 2004, where I was 15 years old. I've mostly played different variations of D&D, but also some White Wolf games, mainly the Werewolf and Vampire series.

English is not my main language, but I've been told that it's usually not a problem to understand what I write or say. At some point I'm bound to screw that up, so please bear with me a bit on that, I'm always trying my best to be crystal clear when posting.

I look forward to engage myself in this forum!

Thank you for the introduction links!

So far (before I've even started) this site seems like a nice match for my taste! I really hope I'll enjoy it, and if I don't I highly doubt it will be due to anyone else than myself. I've been looking for something like this for a time and, for some reason, missed this site.

*Crosses fingers and waits*

There's one thing I don't quite understand yet though. How can I see which DMs are active and/or have joinable games?

As far as I could understand I'll wait until some DM posts a Character Signup and then...well, sign up a character for approval. Is this how it's done or did I miss something?

Welcome to the site. I hope you stay because we need a couple of players for games we're in that need to start already. As far as which games you can join well if you want to start right away you can probably look up Oliron's game in the member wars board. If you want to join the ones we are in then you need 30 posts first. Its a requirement because the GM that runs it wants to make sure you will be active.

I'll see if I can get into Oliron's game then I checked it out abit but weren't sure if it was still going on after reading the last posts in the Character Signup thread.

Might not do it right NOW since it's getting to be abit late over here, kinda want a fresh mind when I create characters heh.

Also I understand that "post-count" rule, should make it easier to find people that stick.

Hi Melden! You can use this thread --> Source 8 to post your character. Oliron will then tell you what to do from there. You don't need 30 posts for that... Its only if you want to play in Future Earth or World of Medieval.If you need more help about Oliron's game you can also ask in the same link.

By the way, make sure to look at edits to your post, don't use full names.

Oh, alright.

Sometimes I have some difficulties with remembering such things, I have a slight Asperger Syndrome and I often state my full name both written and orally. I'll do my absolute best to remember this though.

Dude why do you even need to say your name because your name is on the left and its obvious you wrote it. I don't think this is just you I see lots of times others posting something and then putting their name on this site and others. Oh yeah, welcome.
