I'm a lifelong classical music lover, and Beethoven has long been one of my favorite composers. But it's only recently that I've broken out of the "His early stuff is okay but not great, apart from his piano sonatas" mindset, and come to appreciate other early works of his, like the Opus 1 piano trios, the septet, etc.
Right now, though, the early works of his that stand out to me are the Opus 9 string trios, which are underappreciated, IMO. What are some of y'all's favorite early Beethoven pieces, aside from his piano sonatas?
