LDS seminary building evacuated

SYRACUSE - Hazardous materials teams will be examining a manila envelope mailed to an LDS seminary building outside Syracuse Jr. High here. The envelope prompted officials to evacuate the seminary building Tuesday morning. Police said the envelope has not been opened, but authorities were called because it appeared suspicious to an LDS seminary instructor. The envelope was addressed to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but no one specifically, said Syracuse Police Lt. Tracy Jensen.
