To make it easier I was not part of the space travel programs.

But yes I was involved in military air force. In fact my first outing was quit memorable for may.

Ok let me see if I have this right. You are named after the moon, have a mountain and river named after you. You never went to the moon but were in the Airforce.

Not part of space program and the item on the moon is my names sake thanks to NASA.

17)No I am not Sir William Edmond Logan. (He looks a little scary!)

Keep in mind I was in the air force but did not fight in WWII. Not to say I was not still in the Air force at the time.

I have one hint that would give it away for most but will save it for later.
