KfW execs sacked for ill-fated transfer to Lehman

Germany's KfW said Monday it had fired two directors who were suspended after the state development bank transferred more than €300 million ($434 million) to Lehman Brothers after it filed for bankruptcy.

I think that they did the right thing firing these two. To make that kind of transfer at that time was not the best decision any one could have made. I doubt that anyone making that kind of transfer at that time would have been able to keep their jobs.
