Beaked Whales - Invisible Giants?

Seems we have a rather large evasive critter in our midst. One would think with the traffic on the water today more sighting would occur. To have entire species that are never seen that have to breath air is very interesting. I have to speculate if they know of underground pockets that have air, caves or the like.

Take a look and give you thoughts.

Sounds like they have been seen before but around the canary islands. I believe that a lot more research needs to be done on the fact if they are being damaged by our sonar.

Yes the sperm whale was another victim of our noise. Hard to hunt by sonar if being blasted by outside noise. Sort of like when they use loud music as a sleep deprivation tool on a hostage situation. I know we need to move and do our thing just sad we are basically killing of creatures like this.

I believe there is a better way of being able to move about with out the use of sonar. Or develop a sonar that uses a different frequency as to not interfere with the whales.

That would be nice. I have not seen any stats as to what frequencies the wales and humans are using.
