If you are from this area it would be nice if you can share the feelings of the Saints in this part of the world when they heard of the announcement of this temple.

Do you guys realize that Kansas City Missouri is only 10 miles away from Independence Missouri (If my geography is right)? Could this temple be the temple prophesied for Independence MO? I think this would create the most interest in temple building of any temple so far.


How would we react as Mormons if we started building a temple in Independence Missouri, the supposed site of the Garden of Eden?

The speculation would run wild.

The Kansas City Missouri Temple, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" (Mormons) 137th temple, will open to the public on Saturday, 7 April. The open house will continue through 28 April before the temple is formally dedicated on Sunday, 6 May 2012, in three sessions by President Thomas S. Monson.
