Gunther Woehner Murdered

TWO gunmen invaded Gunther Woehner's home as thieves and left as murderers, killing the retired German-born engineer, in what police say was a planned robbery.

Woehner was shot in the chest by one of the criminals as his accomplice held the 71-year-old man's wife at gunpoint, while ransacking the couple's bedroom.

The killing took place around 6.30 p.m. On Friday, at the couple's home at Zoar Heights, Diego Martin.
