A US woman in Hong Kong loses an appeal against her conviction for killing her husband after lacing his milkshake.

Murderer Milkshake

So according to the defense arguments, I can drug my husband's (or anyone's) milkshake or whatever with a sedative, and then when they pass out I can bludgeon them to death and call it self-defense because he had reportedly threatened me with a baseball bat. hmm. Somehow that just doesn't fly. I think I would have to either bludgeon him at the time of the threat or else make a case for PTSD due to on going abuse. Doesn't look like she is able to do either. I think she is just putting off the inevitable.

This sounds like premeditated murder to me. I think they got it right and convicted her of it. She should be in prison.
