I went for a weekend trip to Magarita, does that count? I thought it was nice but very expensive. I guess that island won't tell me all about Venezuela to make a good opinion, sorry.

Margarita is for tourists and holiday you must for come to mainland and visit there are many things to see and is bigger to Trinidad.

I visited the Maracaibo area when I was a child since I had some family living there, and I know some in-laws who had grandparents born in Monagas area!
Last time I was in T&T, I talked to some paranderos and they had relatives in the Orinoco delta.

I wish I could visit and maybe even have you give me a tour but life is just to hectic to think about Venezuela right now. Plus I don't like the whole Chavez thing, he makes going there scary.
