Metro Police are calling the search for six-year-old Cole Puffenburger a case of "Amber Alert on steroids." Police believe Cole's grandfather is at the center of all this. They say Clemens Fred Tinnemeyer was part of a methamphetamine ring with Mexican drug dealers and vanished with millions of dollars owed to them. Police say when the drug dealers couldn't find him, or the money, they took the boy as ransom. Cole was kidnapped at gun point Wednesday morning from his mother's home. Metro says they're now focused on finding Clemens Tinnenmeyer. Metro says he stole millions of dollars of drug money and that the drug dealers took his grandson in retaliation. |

Oh my gosh! How sad that you know him and the family. It is scary and sad in any form but so much more when you know the family. We will keep them in our prayers. I hope he will be safe but what a scary predicament for a six year old boy!

That is good news. But I'm not sure how it will help them find Cole. For the record, the Grandfather's children have not had anything to do with their father in years. They do not agree with nor are they a part of his "activities."
