German prosecutors open investigation into former Volkswagen CEO
German prosecutors have opened a criminal investigation into former Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn in the wake of the automaker's revelation that it cheated on emissions tests in some of its diesel cars, multiple media outlets reported Monday.
