Leave it to some lawyers and appointees to make rules about something that they have no real knowledge about. There is no reason why they did not consult any environmental scientists to see if any of these changes would in fact hurt any species or not.

I think I would want to see the final draft before making my judgment on this issue. They aren't saying the new changes will cause harm to the environment or wildlife. It sounds more to me that they are upset by being left out of the loop part of the time - kind of a power struggle.
