Football Matches Unsafe?

I recently Posted an account by an associate of mind about his baby avoiding being shot at a football match, but received other injuries as the baby's sitter was killed trying to save him. Then there is the recent story of a student being killed because she simply was watching a football match. Are football matches unsafe in Trinidad? What are your thoughts?
