MARKETS - CRISIS: European stocks rise following Asia's gains
France Economy Local French Business Updates

European markets rose at the start of trading Thursday after Asian stocks closed higher for a third straight day, driven by interest rate cuts in China and the US. The FTSEurofirst 300 index of leading European shares was up 0.9%.
