Funny enough I've always thought that smartTVs did not have adequate protection like how a PC does with firewalls, defenders, etc. So really anyone can snoop on you.

I do not think it is someone hacking your TV you need to worry about Coder.

The Samsung company if you activate the voice commands has in fine print in the user agreement that if you use this feature your agreeing to them recording information. This is to say your telling them it is ok to record then collect the conversation you have in your home, for them to soft through and see what new features or gadgets that your interested in seeing made in the future.

Now to make this better the agreement also says they can sell this information to third parties! Hello 1984.

SO do not activate this feature and all is good. Better still buy Vizio and get a good TV worry free.
