Politics 101
Consider the following quotes, do they adequately describe the base for politics?
"Politics is the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich, by promising to protect each from the other."
~Oscar Ameringer
"Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong."
~Richard Armour
I very much agree with those and have made a mental note to use elsewhere but I do wonder who those people are that the quotes come from?
