I am planning to buy a house in Rockford Dr near Kingston/McCowan. I want to inquire if this neighborhood is safe. I appreciate useful inputs. Thanks!

Are you referring to the Scarborough Ontario Kingston and McCowan?

If so well it might be depending on how close you are to the at exact intersection. I used to live south of Kingston closer to Markham. and I also lived at Lawrence and McCowan that was a bit rough in certain building. One in that general has to be smart in traveling man roads and if by bus not alone at night. Used to loads of Newphies in the are if those pockets it was pretty good the Asian pocket where not for non Asians.

I would contact the police in that nearest location and ask them. I am sure they can give you a more current picture of that location. Good Luck on the house hunt it is a hard thing to do.
