If I'm already happy I wouldn't bother to try something new, thats too risky and we're talking about my hair!

That's typical for a man but not for women. They say our hair is our beauty, just imagine how it would look if my hair was all messed up then what would that say about my beauty huh?

I do not look at a womans hair to see if she is beautiful or not. I look into her eyes and see what type of person she is. Hair can change on a woman form one day to the next in style, cut or color. Her eyes are harder to change.

This is why I would try the new place. Maybe they can do a better job than the old place. Plus getting in to get your hair done may be easier.

I would not even be tempted unless I was unhappy with my current stylist. I am particular about who cuts my hair. There are too many horror stories about bad haircuts. Once I find a stylist I can trust and who does good work I am pretty loyal. If my stylist changed salons I would follow. I think most women are this way. Men tend to be less selective. I went to the same stylist for years, then she moved out of state. It took me about three years to find one I liked. It's nice because I have my hair done at the same place I get my manicures & pedicures. They do good work and it is a laid back fun place. The customers and staff are both very sociable.

alskann is right about that. Going to someone new and having to explain every detail and then cringe when they mess it up is way too much drama. Its not like you can grow your hair out overnight and redo it.

No, I wouldn't!
I did that once, and the new hairdressers made a mess of my hair, and I had to pay another hairdresser to sort the mess out, costing twice the price!
I learnt the hard way, to 'not fix something that isn't broken'. In other words, if I was happy with my hairdresser, I'd stick with that hairdresser!
