I don't think any big changes will take place now that Obama has been chosen as the next President of the USA. I believe the Church will continue with the same line of counsel.
Rather off topic, but... Quasar, is not a matter of feeling "equipped" to argue whether Obama is a Muslim or not but if is even worth it. As a trained Journalist like I am, I deal with FACTS. And the facts point Obama as a Christian. The rest, is just "witch-hunt", rumors and smears that I am not interested in entertaining. |
I think that I have more hope now that he is President. I feel that he is the best person for the job. He has a uniteng quality about him and I hope he will bring America together. I may be biased because I worked in his campaign in Ohio. With that saying I am not expecting miracles. Dbackers- I have not heard anyone on my side of the camp say that those who voted for McCain are racists. I think that is far from the truth. You voted for who felt was the best. I think Obama has done a great job of relaying that. Besides this will make your republicans stronger, it will open your eyes and see where you are wrong, and you will regroup and find new answers to the new problems, and will help move the country forward. So this may be the best thing for your party to re-invent itself.
I also do not think that Obama is going to stop food storage. Please do not get caught up in that crazy stuff. Stay ways from all of that conspiracy stuff, it will cause you more anxiety over false misinformation. Give the man a chance. He may be liberal but he is not a fascists, racist, or Muslim. besides he might surprise you as to what he can do for you. I think that the church will continue on as it always has. Why would it not?
This guy will have only four years in office. Let's see if we can muster enough effort in our prayers that he does not do more than he should so the transition for a God fearing president can happen in the 2012 election.

Congratulations on USA new president!
I hope that he be as Franklin D. Roosevelt who united US and made it economically strong. If I am not mistaken he said: "Think not what the country can do for you, but what you can do for the country."
I hope that he be as Ronald Reagan who bridged the "Iron Curtain" and today I can talk to all of you, and the world would seam a smaller place where all good people can meet and exchange ideas that can benefit us all.
I hope President Obama is an honorable and pure in heart person!
Please help me get one thing straight.
I've heard on the news here in Bulgaria that President Obama has renounced his denomination to continue on the elections for the President?
I need to clarify this for myself. For me if that is true, it is most disturbing.
Many good things are spoken about President Obama here in Bulgaria and that is one thing that hinders me to see his pure intentions.

Hello all.
I agree with Quasar and others who believe he is a closet Muslim.
He went to a Wahhabi school in Indonesia where he was in fact raised a Muslim. Anyone familiar with the Wahhabi philosophy? They are Muslim extremists to the bone. The videos you see from Saudi Arabia and other middle-east countries of little children chanting anti-American slogans and hate is Wahhabism.

Name: Carlos
Comments: Why is being a Muslim a negative thing?
Even if president Obama was Muslim, how would that be bad?
I've voted for obama and am a member of the church.
I think the church will stay it's normal course regardless of who's president
