Mr Obama: Resign Now
With Democrats Like Him, Who Needs Dictators?
By Ted Rall
Obama is useless. Worse than that, he's dangerous. Which is why, if he has any patriotism left after the thousands of meetings he has sat through with corporate contributors, blood-sucking lobbyists and corrupt politicians, he ought to step down now--before he drags us further into the abyss. With in the next few months he is going to have to start getting someone in congress to initiate it or just rubber stamp it with a executive order and that is raising taxes.

Our debt is 11 trillion dollars and we have to make interest payments this year that will total over $500 BILLION dollars. The government takes in about $2.5 Trillion dollars, but with the economy going down expect the government take to decrease as well. We have a tendency not to want to cut programs...so where will the money come from to pay off the interest?
I like the quote on the page...

Vincenzo, I think the thoughts of the US always pulls through economically is what is causing people to 'ignore' this.
What do you guys think about his recent speech? I did not have a chance to hear it but FNC said he never talked about terrorists or terrorism anywhere in his speech. He also quoted the Quran three times.

I think the fact that we just call it a deficit or the debt allow us to not really think about it in terms of hard core money. However, if anyone in their right minds starts calculating what the interest on 11 trillion dollars might even look like at good rates, they become concerned. These voices are starting to be heard. Something has got to give or someone is going to take the credit card away from the teenager and teach them how to value money...
I suspect a quote from a speech he gave prior to being annoited will be reiterated for us...

But in the end, we also know that we should never seek to dictate what is best for the Israelis and their security interests. No Israeli Prime Minister should ever feel dragged to or blocked from the negotiating table by the United States. |

I am thinking a great public speaker or master of the teleprompter. World changer? Probably not. His style throughout his career has been more of a facilitator rather than the catalyst for change. The facilitator usually doesnt get much praise.

Newsweek's Evan Thomas: Obama Is "Sort of God"
Last week, Evan Thomas, an editor at Newsweek, said the following:

He does certain things that make people love him. He was having a meeting about health care when a man before asking him a question mentioned his daughter missed the last day of school to be there, to which Obama replied "Do you need me to write her a note?".

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Ten-year-old Kennedy Corpus has a rock-solid excuse for missing the last day of school: a personal note to her teacher from President Barack Obama. Her father, John Corpus of Green Bay, stood to ask Obama about health care during the president's town hall-style meeting at Southwest High School on Thursday. He told Obama that his daughter was missing school to attend the event and that he hoped she didn't get in trouble. "Do you need me to write a note?" Obama asked. The crowd laughed, but the president was serious. On a piece of paper, he wrote: "To Kennedy's teacher: Please excuse Kennedy's absence. She's with me. Barack Obama." He stepped off the stage to hand-deliver the note -- to Kennedy's surprise. "I thought he was joking until he started walking down," Kennedy said after the event, showing off the note in front of a bank of television cameras. "It was like the best thing ever." The fourth-grader at Aldo Leopold elementary in Green Bay already knew what she was going to do with the note: frame it along with her ticket to the event. She said she'd make a copy for her teacher. Kennedy said she had never seen Obama before. "He's really nice," she said.... |
