What kind of socialist is Barack Obama?

Jonah Goldberg is the man who can explain that question the best and he goes in-depth answering that very question in a very informative column. Jonah draws on his vast knowledge of history to analyze the president's beliefs - because everyone knows he IS socialist, but what we don't know is exactly how far he'll go. Ref. Source 7

Obama plays the race card

It's campaign time again! Miss it? Obama released this short web video where he tries to rally support for Democrats in the 2010 election similar to the turnout in the 2008 election. Who does Obama think is the most important? African Americans, Latinos, and women. Glenn plays the audio and reacts on radio today. Ref. Source 1

Obama: "at some point, you've made enough money"

Obama Glenn played the audio of the President, who thought it'd be a good idea to wander off prompter for a few moments. They should know it's a bad idea because every time this President wanders off prompter, he can't go more than 10 seconds without saying something overtly Marxist. This time, he wandered off mere seconds before saying "at a certain point, you've made enough money." Salary caps! That sounds American. Ref. Source 7

I've lived almost all my life in the lower class. Still I don't see how having caps on how much money you make can be a good thing. Maybe he was talking more along the lines of saying people are greedy.

Obama's pattern of dissing cops

The President spoke today about the failed bomb attempt in Times Square, and he gave a very special shout out to the police who did such a fine job. The compliment comes with a grain of salt, of course, because it seems that most of the time the President feels the police are acting stupidly, racist or both. Glenn listens to the President and reacts on radio today. Ref. Source 4

Pres. Barack Obama's Next Move

It is interesting to go back to the first pages of this topic and read the posts there, who could have imagined that we would be in the mess we are in today. So sad, but the lady who was laughed at for being overjoyed that her gas and mortgage would be payed for by the messiah isn't looking so stupid anymore after all. This scheme it seems has been in the works for a long, long time.

Obama's fairness doctrine: net neutrality

Obama repeatedly said during the campaign that he was against the Fairness Doctrine. It's becoming clear he can go a different way to achieve similar ends. Longtime Obama friend and now regulatory czar Cass Sunstein explained his 5 step plan to stifle free speech, and Obama eagerly echoed the message this weekend in a speech. Glenn plays the audio and reacts. Ref. Source 5

Oh, definitely believe that he meant that at some point you have made enough money. Now does that directly relate to a proposed cap? Not exactly, but could it mean that after a certain amount of money made does our president think that a 70, 80 or 90% tax on earning above a certain amount is ok? I can see that. So it isn't exactly a cap, but it is a certainly would be a heck of a deterrent!

If you read the great national health initiative that was just passed, it had so little to do with health care and controlling cost and was more to the point a wealth and tax reform bill cloaked in a health care rapper. Out of those 40, 50 or 60 million americans that will not have health care that didn't before, a great number of them were 18-26 years of age and didn't want or were not currently paying for it...but now they will! New taxes were added to the health care bill and thousands of IRS agents (apparently the IRS is good at the medical practice).

There are several within the Democratic Party that really believe that the money you make working really shouldn't belong to you...it is the government's money to do as they wish because they are doing you the favor of providing all this for you. The government should determine how much you are allowed to have back and if you get anything (because they would like to be the ultimate supplier of all goods and services) back...you shouldn't complain.

And one last thing, because I mentioned it just after the passage of that health care bill, all classes of citizens...get ready for your new VAT tax (although it will have to be called something different for sure). Obama ran on a campaign that said he wouldnt raise the tax of the poor...he will be lying to you shortly. The VAT tax that will be levied to pay for the program that was just passed with hit you as well. However, since this is Obama and not say a Bush, it will slide through with little complaint and will not be quite obvious to you...but you WILL pay it and pay we will.
