Obama bashes America AGAIN

Standing there with President Felipe Calderon of Mexico, at the Rose Garden, Barack Obama teed off on America and the Arizona immigration law. It's bad enough that our own President feels the need to apologize time and time again for America's so-called bad behavior, but what's worse is he does so without even giving an explanation of why the law is bad. Glenn reacts to the comments on radio today. Ref. Source 8

President Obama and the federal government all get terrible grades

McLEAN, Va. - The oil spill off the Gulf Coast is staining more than Louisiana's beaches. The response to the disaster by energy giant BP, President Obama and the federal government all get terrible grades from Americans in a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll. Nearly three-fourths of those surveyed Monday and Tuesday say BP is doing a "poor" or "very poor" job in handling the calamity. Six of 10 say that of the federal government. And a 53% majority give Obama a poor rating. Ref. USAToday

Obama skips Memorial Day tradition

President Obama is skipping out on Memorial Day ceremonies at Arlington this weekend - but don't worry, he'll be back in time for a Paul McCartney concert! What a guy. What a leader. But this isn't shocking, the President just doesn't seem too fond of America. Even Joe Biden has caught the 'America sucks' bug - he was recently in Brussels speaking and just couldn't resist throwing America directly under the bus. Biden trashes America and Glenn responds: Ref. Glenn Beck Source 2

Our Commander-in-Chief is going to skip Arlington on Memorial Day? That's a slap in the face to our military. Nice going, Obama.

Pres. Barack Obama's Next Move

I feel bad for Obama, I think he is getting a bad rap. I think he is a good president. Sure he is messing up on some stuff but really look what he came into office with. I think he has done a considerably good job once you factor all that in. I mean, he is only a man, he can't solve every problem and save the world single handedly in four years. Certainly after the mess he was left in.

I think he is wary of choosing one thing definitely because he realizes he has a chance of another four years in office. If he is elected for a second term I think we will see a much different Obama.

POTUS seeking 'ass to kick'

President Obama goes on with Matt Lauer and says some pretty amazing things about the oil spill - including that he was 'down there' working on the problem a month ago while the 'talking heads' weren't paying attention and that he's ready to kick some ass now. Aside from being oh-so presidential, what else is wrong with this picture? Glenn explains on radio today. Ref. Source 8

Oliron - I truly doubt Obama will be up for another session. There is a growing discontent with his reign, and that includes his own constituency.

This article is from a conservative editorialist, but it definitely hits the mark where many people are concerned. The entire article at The American Spectator is kind of long, but well worth the read.

international QUOTE
The Coming Resignation of Barack Obama

By Peter Ferrara on 6.2.10  6:09AM

Months ago, I predicted in this column that President Obama would so discredit himself in office that he wouldn't even be on the ballot in 2012, let alone have a prayer of being reelected. Like President Johnson in 1968, who had won a much bigger victory four years previously than Obama did in 2008, President Obama will be so politically defunct by 2012 that he won't even try to run for reelection.

I am now ready to predict that President Obama will not even make it that far. I predict that he will resign in discredited disgrace before the fall of 2012. Like my previous prediction, that is based not just on where we are now, but where we are going under his misleadership.

Probably the main point is the recent Sestak fiasco -- which is very well illegal and not just unethical.

international QUOTE
Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA) is now the Democrat nominee for the Senate seat held far too long by Arlen Specter. President Obama induced Specter to switch parties and give the Democrats their very temporary, 60 vote, filibuster-proof majority, in return for endorsing him for reelection and promising him no opposition in the Democrat primary. But Sestak had already announced that he was running for the seat, and he refused to get out. Two week ago, Sestak defeated the unprincipled, opportunistic Specter for the Democrat nomination, continuing the perfect string of everyone who Obama endorses and campaigns for going down to defeat.

For months now, Sestak has publicly claimed that President Obama tried to keep his promise to Specter by offering him a high-ranking administration appointment if he would get out of the race. The rumor is that Sestak, formerly an Admiral, was offered appointment as Secretary of the Navy. The problem is that a federal statute explicitly provides that it is a federal felony, punishable by up to one year in prison, to attempt to bribe a candidate with a federal job, or anything of value, to influence an election.

However, I think even his die-hard supporters will start to question their loyalty when they start to get hit harder in their wallets.

international QUOTE
The President himself has laid the foundation for his biggest political vulnerability of all. He won our votes and the election in 2008 with "the firm pledge" not to raise taxes "in any form" on anyone making less than $250,000 a year. Now he has already backed away from that pledge to the American people by creating a Presidential Deficit Commission, with "everything on the table," including tax increases on working people in direct violation of the pledge. The much discussed Value Added Tax (VAT) could not be a more direct violation of the no tax increase pledge, increasing the prices of everything working families buy.

When the President directly violates the pledge that got him elected by openly endorsing such a tax increase, his resignation will immediately become a central political issue. The above problems and vulnerabilities will come together to increase the pressure for resignation to unbearable levels.

Keep reading in the coming months... There's plenty more trouble for Obama coming.
