So, everyone is complaining now about Obama after voting him in for a second term. Thank goodness its at least coming to an end soon and we can vote in someone else.

As far as I understand there is no stipulation for the President to act within a certain time frame, but let's see, with Obama there is first for everything.

international QUOTE (CNN)
House Speaker John Boehner said today that he plans to sue President Barack Obama over his use of executive action without consulting Congress.

"You know the Constitution makes it clear that the President's job is to faithfully execute the laws, and in my view the President has not faithfully executed the laws,"Boehner said at a news conference on Capitol Hill.

Republicans argue that the President is breaching his constitutional power by sidestepping the legislative process. Obama has used executive actions as a way to bypass a deeply divided Congress, avoiding inaction on issues the White House has made hallmarks of the President's second-term agenda.

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi called the lawsuit "A subterfuge" And said Republicans in Congress are "Doing nothing" And "They have to give some aura of activity."

Well, the stipulation was actually in the Oath he took. However, he apparently is not holding himself to the standard and continues to just churn out executive edicts left and right. Congress does however hold the purse strings and should just stop funding this stuff. States should use thier rights to control their borders as they see fit...they really do have the legal right to do it. What I do find funny is that these procedures that the President and Senate are using to bypass normal protocol will be held as illegal and just wrong as soon as a republican gets into a position to utilized these powers. Executive orders have been increasingly used...Obama has taken it up an order or two of magnitued now. The constitution was constructed assuming that all parties act legally. When one or more start crossing that boundaries...there really was nothing in it other than the uprising of the people and the power of the states to combat it. In my opinion, the founding fathers would be a bit scared (Not some of them though) in what the federal government looks and the powers it weilds...today. It makes King George look like a mear playground bully.

That may the key problem, there is too much assumption and even where laws are concerned there are judges to interpret them because each party feels they are acting inside the law. Whatever comes of this will set a precedent for succeeding Presidents - is the President's will greater than congress?

Rather off topic, but...
We have another Topic about this (Us Constitution & Bible) but it s a good example of how the Free Mason forefathers of the USA had one thing in mind and the modern outlook is totally different

Well, in that case, you are expecting the Judicial to act within the law. For Obamacare, the judicial actually changed the wording of the law in order to make it acceptable...otherwise it wasnt legally able to be created. The only way for it it be implimented was as a Tax. So our Judicial is even stepping out of its bounds. That legislation was not a legal piece of documention without it being viewed differently than it was handed to SCOTUS. I have no doubts that our executive knows they are out of bounds but also know no one is going to really challenge them, but that is my opinion.

In other words and to put it simple, THE WHOLE SYSTEM is messed up. A revolution of change has to come to America, one that involves conscious thinking on the part of all Americans who don't make decisions based on what the media wants to present to them.
