Use Human Breast Milk In Ben And Jerry's.

Peta urges the use of Human Breast milk in Ben and Jerry's ice cream to reduce the suffering of cows.
What are your thoughts of drinking human breast milk (as an adult) and do cows really suffer when we take their milk?

First off I would have to say that I do not buy any of Ben and Jerry's Ice cream or any of their products due to the fact that they donate part of their profits to a convicted cop killer. They can put what ever they want in their products

I have worked on a dairy farm. I have yet to see a distressed cow while it was giving milk. The cows were just standing there chewing on some hay or their cuds while being milked. Now breast milk may be better for us but I would have to see a side by side comparison on what is in each of them, Breast and cows milk, to see what is better. I know that breast milk is best for babies. As an adult I am on the fence.

I also worked on a dairy farm and it would actually be a lot worse if the cows were not milked. They have to have the milk released or it will cause extreme discomfort to the Cow.

As to using Human milk, how would this be harvested?Would there be human milk farms, where individuals would sit and have their milk extracted. It sounds very Orwellian to me.

laugh.gif Maybe be but if a manual procedure is used you will have many volunteers.

I would actually think that the human milk would be better for us as it was designed for humans not cows. But again we really have no need to drink milk as adults unless you have a deficiency.

Yes if they need people to assist women with expressing milk then by all means sign me up biggrin.gif

I think that milk can do a body good. I believe that some research should be done to see if breast milk is actually better for an adult human than cows milk is.

Another example of PETA idiocy. Cows would suffer if they were not milked regularly. Being engorged is not a pleasant sensation. Dairy cows come to the barn on their own when it is milking time. If it was tortuous for them I doubt they would.

The thought of eating ice cream made from human mild is unappetizing to me. Where would they find enough donors? Do they suppose we would hook them up to milking machines?

It never ceases to amaze me what they will come up with next. Just the other day I heard on the news where Pamela Anderson, as a spokesperson for PETA, said she is working to eliminate leather and wool from her wardrobe. How does wool harm any animals?

Typical PETA idea -- "Let's make humans suffer so that animals won't have to!" Honestly, it would be much more harmful and cause much more suffering to women being "milked" than it does cows.

QUOTE
Animals will also benefit from the switch to breast milk. Like all mammals, cows only produce milk during and after pregnancy, so to be able to constantly milk them, cows are forcefully impregnated every nine months.

Well, aren't humans also mammals? Do we not also only produce milk while there is a child available to nurse? They would be doing the same thing to humans as to cows, so what exactly is the point, here?

PETA has long outlived its usefulness - if it ever had any.

GOSH...this is a fantastic idea! I can only imagine the packaging for Ben & Jerry's Vanilla Juggs Icecream appropriately wrapped in a Penthouse Centerfold. Why of course, they could use a nude photo of Pamela Anderson for the container.

Why I cant count how many times I have heard women talk about the joys of pumping breast milk! Hmmm...I really cant. I wonder why that is? OH YEAH...that is becase it isnt FUN and it doesnt fell GREAT! I think I heard that before... Why yes I have!

This organization has a moral compus that looks like Jack Sparrows.

What is next? You know...cows suffer when they are fattened up. OH and pigs too! Hmmm...humans are meat. Perhaps we should make cold cuts from people instead and save these animals of the pain!

I got a few they can start with! laugh.gif

Just remember...SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!

Sorry, gotta go now and watch that YouTube of that epic battle between French Troops and Greenpeace.
