Primitive Weapons Finding There Way Back.

I have always liked the Primitive weapons and one of my favorites is the tomahawk. The versatility is amazing and now that the US military is starting to use it I can tell some people " I told you so". How could millions of our ancestors be wrong? People think of the tomahawk as just native American but it was actually used by many different people here in America and Europe.

These look really cool, but I wont pay $360 for one. I might order the steel and copy this design.

What is next short swords? Short swords don't have as many uses as this tomahawk.

Yes the tomahawk is a great weapon and a great tool to use in times of peace. The versatility of this tool/weapon is what makes it a wanted item. I would like to get my hands on one of these.

I already have a short bastard sword and a long sword. I think the next weapon to come back is the long sword. It is very good at close quarters combat.

Just make sure that you get the high carbon steels and not stainless. People think that stainless steel is better but that is a myth. Stainless steel sucks for swords, axes or any larger weapons. It breaks a lot easier than regular carbon steel. I prefer carbon steel for my knives too.

I only go with hand crafted swords and not ones that are flashy. I watch the people who I am going to buy from how they make their weapons. Carbon hardened steel is very good at holding a nice edge to it.
