MacMannus Introduction

Hello,
I am MacMannus. I am a member of the LDS church. Prior to becoming a Latter Day Saint, I was a pentecostal preacher (I had my own church but didn't accept pay for my preaching.). I am 57 years old with a wife and two grown boys. I belong to Mensa and am learning Spanish, German, Russian, Japanese, Arabic, and Chinese in that order. I am disabled; consequently, I have plenty of free time. In the past I was a Master Dog Trainer, a Tractor Trailer Instructor and cross country driver, a construction foreman, and a factory foreman. I attended Penn State University where I major in psychology and The Writing Option (that was back when they still had terms and the terms were less than four hundred per term.). I was on the Deans list for all but one term of my 3 and 1/2 years.

I guess that should be enough. My hobbies were Martial Arts for nearly forty years and flying planes and skydiving.

Yes welcome. That is impressive. I would have been in Mensa but I didn't score high enough on any tests...I am also studying a language called English (I am almost fluent now). I was chased down by a dog one time, probably one you trained. I graduated from high school with a 2.2 or something and I was always on the principals list.

It seams we have a lot in common. Looking forward to your posts.

Thanks for posting your introduction message, this INTERNATIONAL Forum allows you to interact positively with many people on varying topics such as LDS Church news, Doctrine, the Book of Mormon, etc. However, do keep in mind that LDS Related Discussion is kept only in the LDS Related Boards as this is an International Community.

If you like LDS Based Games then you may also be interested in playing: Nephi RPG where you can 'Journey to the Promised Land' or Book of Mormon Battles and see if you really know a lot about the Book of Mormon.
