Rich Man, Poor Man
Over the last month, corporate executives have come to Washington, hat in hand, asking for their share of the $700-billion bailout. This week, it's been the CEOs of the Big Three automakers. Lawmakers were already reluctant to help the auto industry, but the executives didn't help their cause when they arrived from Detroit by private jet. ABC News chief investigative correspondent Brian Ross reports on the irony of big-money men who are looking for a handout.
I do not know what security reasons they would list for them to each fly separate private jets. If they were that worried about security then let them take commercial jets to washington. They could book themselves in first class on three separate flights. That would have been the way to go.
I managed to catch this on the news last night and the auto representative sure looked smug in their reply to the question why did you not break down and fly first class....good gravy step down to first class what on earth could they be thinking!
I hope the can the top executives move up some from the floor and drop the wages to modest ones. With hold all their pensions for 10 years and let them work in McDonalds.

That is just it they are way to safe and abuse their position. So let the company fold and a more profitable one take over the sales. It will not likely even effect them as their pockets are already deeply line with monies.
Yes they work and earn their place but they also should be more accountable to the floor workers in how the profits are used. Wastefulness kills companies.
CNN says that the big three have reduced their salary to $1 a year and they will drive to their next meeting with the Congressmen. Poor guys, how will they ever survive on $1 a year.
