KINGSTON, Jamaica (OPM): Jamaican Prime Minister Bruce Golding is serious about education. He reiterated his position in Parliament on Wednesday, when he defended his position on the government's purchase of property at Ferry, which houses the Hydel Group of Schools, preventing the demise of the institution.

I am glad the Jamaicans government is taking education seriously. I believe this can help them as a country. Having educated people will help them improve their lives on their island.
