Guyana records 9 percent increase in crime

GEORGETOWN, Guyana: The Guyana Police Force (GPF) on Thursday announced that the country has recorded a 9 percent increase in the overall crime rate as of October 31 as compared to the same period in 2007. The country has recorded 135 murders as compared to the 99 last year.
