Revival Introduction - Page 3

I would like to apologize for my behavior before revival. I am still young and foolish. I hope you can forgive me? I don't want to give my church a bad name.

You are so interested in mormon doctrine and I think that is great! Perhaps it is time that you talk to the missionaries and get your own copy of the Book of Mormon. I am sure that the missionaries will learn much from you too. If you so desire you can go to a local LDS church. I am sure they will welcome you with open arms.

I am sure that if you give people here your contact information they will arrange or send you the information necessary to make your own choices.

Did you want a copy of the Book of Mormon? Please continue to ask questions. I do the same thing because I have only been active for the last 3 years, well semi active.

Let us re introduce ourselves in the way of hobbies.

I like to:

Shoot
Study Religion/philosophy
Hunt/Fish
Adventure (I love new places)
Make new friends
I like learning new things (computer and internet right now)
I like working with my hands and maybe a few other things.

Tell us something about yourself and welcome. I look forward to your thought provoking questions.

Why all of these apologies all of a sudden?

I already have a copy of your book of Mormon but have not read it deeply.

My main interest is to find about other religions and cultures that is primarily why I am here.

For me I just wanted to ensure I had not offended you. Just the right thing to do.

No offense taken, thanks for your apology but it's not necessary.

Introduction Revival

As you Probably know, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints (The Mormons), and I am not at all offended by your questions.

I have probably asked every question you have asked and more and I appreciate them regardless of why they were asked. I asked them through out my life of my religion as well as many religions because of a genuine interest in why people believe the way they do, (And a desire to determine the path my life should take.)

In my personal search for truth I have examined the doctrines of many churches to find out what God wanted from me as his son. I have prayed and talked with Him, and I have come to realize that the search for truth is a very personal thing, that comes to everyone in very personal and often unexplainable ways.

So, It is my advice, (its free so take it for what it is worth) that you continue to question assumptions and question me on mine. I am sure that we both have things we can learn from one another and from others that we meet in that eternal search for absolute truth.
