It is a very very hard situation, the miners trapped are by looking at the detail of the mine displayed by the media possibly in 3 different locations.

The tough thing is not to be able to tell where the the explosion took place, however the bore hole is close to being finished. From that they will be able to test the air closer to where they think the miners are and get a idea if they have a stable living enviroment.

They have added a new robot which is also trying to get further into the mine but is hampered by the life of the battery.

They have a robot from Aust.now and that may give them an ability to advance further but is larger so may be affect by access.

They have completed the bore hole and are finding the gas to be of a level that it is still dangerous for humans to go into the enviroment for fear of setting off another explosion.

Is it just because I don't listen to the news enough or why hasn't this gotten as much publicity as the miners in Chile got? I hope they get out seems like their going through a lot worse stuff down there.
