O.K I love my doctrine and church. I would do anything in the world to protect it and even die a painful death for it as most red blooded individuals would for their own religion. But for the life of me I can not get along with at least half of the member in my church and 75% of the people that come from Utah. I have been annoyed and hounded and eavesdropped to the point that I have told counselors, home teachers, and just plain nosy people to go (expletive) themselves. I have been polite and asked them to call first. I have been called in by people that thought they had authority over me only for me to have to deflate their egos a little. What is it with some of these priesthood guys? I think it has gone to their heads somewhat. I really have tried, but I just can't stand some of them. Granted half of them are great folks doing Gods work. And to those types, If they give me a call, then I am johnny on the spot. Some of them are just as good as gold, but the others...well you get the point. If I have to go through one more sacrament meeting were someone is complaining/crying about something stupid then I might go up there and slap it out of them. The gossip and Roomers are terrible. I just have to leave early a lot of times. I talk to the ones I like later. The gossipy women are bad too. I get cornered at least 2 times every sunday. All of the invasive questioning. I finally told one of them to "get bent and asked her if her husband was pleasing her?" last sunday. I had the bishop and both counselors about 2 years ago drive by my house real slow 3 times. The third time I went out there to see what the deal was. I was so furious with them saying "we are just checking things out" that I knocked the passenger mirror off and ran them off. I can't stand nosy people. Drive by my house 3 times suspiciously? I told them sunday that they better thank God they didn't get shot. No wonder no one wants to come back to church. Does anyone else have this problem? If I want to untie my tie after sacrament meeting and untuck my shirt then I can do that.
I get along with bar people and the supposed Gentiles 10 times better than I do with half of my own church. I never have many of these sort of issues outside my church. I get better respect from crackheads.
Now it may infact be true that I suck and that is probably the case. But this thread is on how Mormons suck. If you are not a member have you ever run across any mormons? Are you a member and what do you think of your own?
Like I said half of them are as good as gold, but the other half are pious, arrogant, salty oil.
I am going to write a letter to Salt lake about it....seriously.
Some might be surprised at my choice of this topic, but there it is. What do you think?

This topic gives me the creeps. Its an old one and I see the guy who started it isn't a member anymore but I hope he got the help he needed because telling members in the church would definitely leave people unsettled.
