In an emergency session convened by the United States, 131 members of the United Nations Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution declaring the Ebola outbreak spreading now in Africa a threat to international peace and security.

The number of Ebola cases in Liberia and Sierra Leone could rise to between 550,000 and 1.4 million by January if there are no "Additional interventions or changes in community behavior," The CDC says.
The range is wide because officials say they think the current case count is highly underreported. The official death toll from Ebola in West Africa has climbed to more than 2,800 in six months, with 5,800 cases confirmed as of Monday, the World Health Organization says. Ref. CNN
If that's true then its bound to get to America soon and if we see cases popping up here people will start to panic anytime they're around a sick person.
A patient at a Dallas, Texas, hospital is the first case of Ebola virus diagnosed in the United States, according to the CDC. Other Americans were diagnosed in West Africa and then brought to the United States for treatment. Ref. CNN
