Should Obama Fire Gen. McChrystal?
By Ray McGovern
It is not too late for President Barack Obama to follow the example of Harry Truman, who fired Gen. Douglas McArthur in 1951 for insubordination. Then, as now, the stakes were high. Then it was Korea; now it is Afghanistan. No more slaps on the wrist for Gen. Stanley McChrystal. In my view, Commander-in-Chief Obama should fire him for cause. Ref. Source 9
McChrystal vs. Obama
The top commander in Afghanistan, Gen. Stanley McChrystal, has been summoned to the White House to explain harsh comments he made about the President and his administration in a Rolling Stone interview. Did he step out of line? Glenn's answer may surprise you, plus he explains why someone as smart as McChrystal would speak to Rolling Stone - listen to the response on the radio program today. Ref. Source 7
Should Obama Fire Gen. McChrystal? (Hover)
Just another example of someone saying something negative about the Obama administration and now they will be fired or forced to retire. I have heard that he summited his retirement already. It is a shame because he was turning around the war in Afghanistan.
Looks like he did fire him after all, they even have a replacement ready:

McChrystal 'sacked for intelligence leak':
Head of Press TV's office in Kabul, Mohammad Ruhi, says US commander General Stanley McChrystal was sacked for acknowledging NATO's connection with the executed leader of the Pakistan-based Jundallah terrorist group, Abdolmalek Rigi. Ref. Source 7
I am surprised that there was NOT a bigger reaction to this because for me, it is absolutely unacceptable and quite scary if you ask me.
