This is hardly surprising. Trinis love what they can't have and to look at what they can't touch so porn will be their thing. What I dislike is the sexting among students.

The country built on vice so it is hardly surprising that porn will not be searched out to this degree. What will be nice to know is the ratio of Trinidadian men looking at porn to Trinidadian women.

On a University Campus in Trinidad we got an email from the IT department saying that the Campus network was being used mainly for watching porn. The also caught some of us workers visiting porn sites and had to call us in for questioning. Rumour has it that one of my co-workers was called in for watching naked male pictures or gay porn online.

Watching it is one thing but doing it at work is just plain disrespectful. You should be working and you're also wasting time on the job and the people's electricity. Seeing that UWI is a public institution its tax payers that are paying for that.

Who mentioned UWI? There are three Universities in Trinidad so it is any one of the three (UWI, UTT, USC) The porn was found mainly on the student network though. I agree that it is a waste of taxpayers money but I'm not sure that any University could do anything about it apart from putting blockers on certain sites.

I don't understand how people could be doing that at their workplace though, I mean are you serious? They don't have computers at home or something?

Not everybody has internet service at home but you might be surprised as to what people do when eyes are not on them. I have even heard of people being caught having sex in a closet at work.

There is a current buzz in the country about the posting of underage porn. It is nothing new but apparently the ones behind the shameful acts are also posting nude photos of hacked phones and attaching names to it even if the picture is not attached to the name.
