What is your review for Webkinz toys for 2008?

My sons were given some and they where very excited and spent some time on the internet playing with the site. The stuffed animals are fun to play with but my sons soon found out the internet sight is a big money grab as all the stuff to give to your new baby on line is extra and you buy the points cards in the store (same idea as the fp her to buy upgrades).

If you like a nice textured soft toy for your child go for it.

I have a daughter, a son, a wife and a cousin who all have Webkins. They get together and play all the time on line. They buy their pets nice clothes and stuff with the web points they earn by playing games on the internet in the webkin world. SO far the main objection I have is the webkin sign on is only good for one year with no renewal unless you buy another webkin. I hope that they rethink this and allow a person to renew their pets without buying a new one.
