Nonsense. Whatever the "reason" for the season, it all boils down to a re-affirmation of life while celebrating with those nearest and dearest around you. Not selfish nor dark sided in any way.

I've got to agree with Harkon, it's about family.

Celebrations Yuletide

I do agree it is about family and opening of your doors to strangers as well. We know a few families that are estranged to their families due to religious choices and other to geographics. Our door have been open to them all in honor of this time of the year. They will remain open ever after as well. I admit red faced it was this celebration that made us look closer at our community and one we are meeting and have known, that placed the change in our hearts.
