Inmates Ill Mentally

I agree that if you have a mental illness then you should not be in a prison but in the same token you should not be roaming free either. If your a danger or have proven to be a danger to yourself or others and are mentally sick then you need to be in a institution where you can get the help you need. If you have done a crime then you still need to be in an institution instead of jail. When and if you get well then you can pay for your crimes.

If you commit a crime and have a mental illness then you should be given aid as if that is "fixed" maybe you would be ok in society again.
