Lawmakers: Hornet pilots aren't flying enough

A maintenance backlog of aging Marine Corps F-18 Hornets is so extensive that pilots aren’t getting enough flight hours to keep their skills well-honed, a group of lawmakers said yesterday. The military is extending the life of the fighter jet. Ref. Source 4n.
