Not sure if I have to do this in order to start posting, but here it is anyhow....I am interested in the doctrines of the Kingdom of God that will help the Saints better understand their purpose here. I have a deep and abiding testimony of The Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanks for posting your introduction message, this INTERNATIONAL Forum allows you to interact positively with many people on varying topics such as LDS Church news, Doctrine, the Book of Mormon, etc. However, do keep in mind that LDS Related Discussion is kept only in the LDS Related Boards as this is an International Community.

Be sure to read: The Art of Discussion as some tend to become offended or argumentative, this may not be you, but just in case.

The next thing you should do now is update your profile. You can do this by clicking the link called, 'My Controls' in the top menu. You may wish to venture over to the LDS Deep Doctrine board or the News & RM Section and have a look around.

If you like LDS Based Games then you may also be interested in playing: Nephi RPG where you can 'Journey to the Promised Land' or Book of Mormon Battles and see if you really know a lot about the Book of Mormon.

Honey, did you read rules that you are supposed to make an introduction upon joining?

uh, no. I usually don't read the rules for discussion boards. It's like reading the same thing over and over; dont cuss, be nice, etc, etc.

Perhaps this is one case where it may be helpful. I got confused in the process by which I found this site. I will read it and begin anew. :)

I am 35 years old, a computer engineer from Arizona, USA. I enjoy the Snow, Computers (gaming too,) game console modding, hunting, fishing, being LDS & my family. I have 5 children and a wonderful partner in life. I tend to have poor literary structure, but I am actively working to improve this. I really hate emoticons. Don't know why, but they make me want to reach through my LCD and grab something by the neck as if to say- don't look angry at me or don't stick out your toungue at me. However, from time to time, I may post with a :) just to make sure that those who read understand that I may be using humor undetectable to the average human. :) see?

Anyhow, I try to be very understanding. I try to be the kind of person who see both sides. Part of doing this would include playing "devils advocate" from time to time, but you will know it. I like to generate discussion, but not by mean or poor spirited provocation. I have an internet addiction, just so you all are aware. I happen to think the internet is a great place to be most of the time. A while back, I was sitting in MacDonalds reading on my laptop when an older gentlemen with good intentions walked by and made a comment in passing. He said, "Can't be without it for a second, can you." huh? Then he went back to read his paper with a coffee as he does every morning. Not sure why he would think his paper is any different than my internet connection, other than I have more content available to me. It was funny. Anyhow, I am excited to be here and excited to learn from all of the different points of view. I hope that I might be able to offer some interesting discussion.

Looks like you are doing well enough, and once you keep to our Posting Policy we do not care for perfection.

Oh yeah, prove it. We have plenty Users come on here talking about how addicted or active they will be and do not show much for it. We have hundreds of Topics, RPGs, games and more to keep anyone busy for a very long time, so far I'm waiting for your input other than your Introduction.
