As a citizen of any society it is your place to assist the police or other crime stopper by reporting any wrong doing that you see. IF the wrong doer is able to continue the wrongs they are committing towards society because you do not report them then you are allowing them to get away with it. As long as crime is present that will bring down parts of your society.
