LaylaJane Introduction

Right now I'm smiling to myself at the fact that I've had this window open for the past ten minutes and still found nothing of particular value to say about myself or why I am here. Usually I can talk for England - where I'm from. Well that's a start isn't it?

I'm still at school, preparing for exams, uncertain where it is that I want to be in the future or even this time next year! Which is why I am here really, I would like to hear from people who have 'been there, done that' and can offer me advice for the future.

It's been about fifteen minutes now and it's hard to get across your personality in an introductory message. I could try to put passion and power into my words, but I would probably end up pummelling the keys with my 'passion' and breaking my laptop with my 'power'.

I've never been abroad, so this website will have to suffice in allowing me to communicate across the globe. I love learning about different cultures, traditions and festivals, I can't wait to hear from people and maybe even work on my linguistics. Some of the languages I study are French, Spanish and Latin and I have recently taken up Arabic - by far the hardest one yet!

I'm a fitness freak, so to speak. If I didn't have that most valued piece of plastic that is my gym card I don't know what I would do with myself. I enjoy boxing, athletics and spin classes, I do karate and am now a proud yellow belt.

I'm probably going on a bit now so I'll begin my ending. There is a lot more to me than I can describe in one (very long) message, what I've mentioned is a small part of what makes me, me. I read a lot and as a result my mind has been filled with dreams about travelling across the globe. Berlin, Sydney, New York, Madagascar, Africa, India, Pakistan, Russia, Vietnam - to name just a few of the places I want to see and to be in and to do something productive with my life in. So anybody with any stories to tell about anywhere in the world...
