F-117 Stealth Fighter

It is called the F-117 Stealth Fighter, but it is really a bomber. When it was developed the idea was to create an invisible plane that could not be picked up by radar. This plane made everyone raise on their seats. It can fly over 700mph. Many say this plane brought down the Soviets because they could not compete with such a plane without hurting the economy more than it was already. It is supposed to be retired this year 2008!

Fighter Stealth F-

Stealth technology has been used for aircraft design for at least 15 years.
And for other military hardware such as helicopters and ships, even tanks use it.
Not just to be invisible to radar but to have no heat signature, and mabe other new concepts such as projective photo shields and camouflage design.
Have you heard of the HALO spy plane? High Altitude Low Observable aircraft?
They have almost no metal parts, made of ceramic polymer.
The burn methane for fuel, with a purple flame.
Some are piloted, some are not.
Rubbish! I hear you say, but this UFO like aircraft was reported over Southern England, escorted by 2 Tornado IDS!
Reports have it they only take off and land in darkness some where over the Highlands of Scotland.
I did not believe it either until I spoke to a retired flight instructor who is a friend of my brother. He flew next to a HALO for a few seconds over the Cambrian Mountains. He had never seen such a thing, his account was as true and sober as they come.
