Court appearance for Iraqi who threw shoes at Bush
"Al-Zaidi was brought today before the investigating judge in the presence of a defence lawyer and a prosecutor," Birqadr said. "He admits the action he carried out."

I wish he had better aim and actually hit Bush and hit him hard. I think the whole incident has been blown way out of proportion.

KNtoran I can see you have an extra special love for Bush. I was amazed at how long they took to get to this guy. Could you imagine if he had another kind of weapon, we would have been talking about Bush's funeral. Whomever is security chief over that conference is likely to have his 'stripes' taken.

Throwing Shoes
It's a cultural message that's among the lowest forms of insult in Iraq, but that was lost in translation for many Americans, who instead -- for whatever reason and regardless of political persuasion -- found humor in the pair of Size 10s that an Iraqi journalist managed to hurl at President George W. Bush before being pulled down. Needless to say, pop culture swooned, as ABC News correspondent David Wright reports.

What really gets me is now they have developed a game you can play on the internet throwing your shoes at Bush.
Yeah I have no love for the man but someone needs to tell him how much he was insulted by having a shoe thrown at him. Maybe then he would not think it was as funny.
