CAR INDUSTRY: Canada to give US carmakers $3.3 billion in urgent funding

Canada will follow the United States in providing $3.3 billion in emergency loans to ailing US carmakers in Ontario to keep them operating while they restructure, Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced.
